Dorothy Aseyo Asuza is a Senior Gender development practitioner and Expert with proficiency in programming, managing and coordinating development programs coupled with over 10 years of successful experience towards delivery in integrated multisectoral programs focusing on Gender and sustainable development.

Currently, Dorothy is the Senior Programme Manager at CARE International in charge of the Women’s Voice and Leadership program. She also Co – Chair’s the National Steering committee of the Youth Advocacy project (Y-Act!) AMREF Health Africa that seeks to strengthen the voice, skills and participation of the youth across Kenya on issues such as policies that uphold gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) and mental health.

Previously, Dorothy was a Senior Program Manager for Shining Hope for Communities (SHOFCO) where she focused on designing, programming and managing trans-formative development programs for urban informal settlements in Kenya and ACE Africa Kenya.She is also an Alumnus of the  Young African Leaders Intiative (YALI), RL, CEA and a Fellow of the Grant Me The Wisdom Foundation. Dorothy endeavors to scale up her work in transformative development and gender equity & equality with a focus on addressing development.
